-30°C PLASMA FREEZERS

Designed to meet AABB, ANRC, and FDA criteria for blood plasma storage, Jewett plasma freezers are specifically designed for plasma storage at uniform temperatures of -30°C. Available in three cabinet sizes, with capacities from 88 to 510 plasma packs, 400ml each. All models include solid-state electronic control. Upright models feature the Jewett T100 Series independent microprocessor-based alarm/monitor system. Hermetically sealed refrigeration systems provide ample refrigeration power for quick temperature recovery following door openings.

General Features

• Heavy gauge galvannealed steel interior and exterior, textured beige enamel exterior, and white enamel interior; optional stainless steel available (standard CTF 1).
• Solid stainless steel roll-out drawers, fully extendable on Delrin^® rollers for accurate inventory control and easier access to contents.
• Forced-air circulation system for maximum temperature uniformity.
• Automatic defrost, with built-in condensate evaporator.
• Extruded, multi-point neoprene door gasket with polyvinyl heat breaker strip, plus self-sealing magnetic gasket for positive seal.
• Adjustable, positive latching hardware with cylinder lock for security.

T100 Series Alarm/Monitor System

Jewett plasma freezers feature the T100 Series Alarm/Monitor system with audible and visual warning in case of AC power failure or cabinet temperature deviation from setpoint.

Features include auto-tracking overtemp parameters, audio and warning light signatures, alarm silence with automatic ringback; pre-programmed time delays, battery back-up with test switch and low battery indicator light, remote alarm connections, self-test circuit for alarm simulation, and automatic calibration with touch pad power failure test.

Dual thermistor probes on reach-in cabinets monitor upper and lower level temperatures with a selector switch for viewing upper or lower temperature; probes are thermally weighted. Audible and visual door ajar warning (reach-in cabinets) include a time adjustable alarm delay.
