-85°C RED CELL FREEZERS
Jewett -85°C Super Cold red cell freezers include electronic temperature control, alarm, test and monitor functions. A built-in temperature
recorder maintains a permanent record of storage temperature. This model can be used for plasma storage as well. Optional red cell
canisters and plasma racks are available; see Accessories.

- Solid-state, multiple function alarm system with self-charging battery back-up.

- Alarm silence button with automatic ringback function until fault is corrected.
- Independent high and low temperature alarm setpoints, adjustable in 1°C increments.
- Touchpad alarm test function physically heats probe to verify alarm readiness.
- Low battery indicator.
- Built-in voltage boost system adjusts instantly to low line current.
- Clean filter indicator light warns of dirty air filter.
- Exterior alarm contacts for connection to remote monitoring system.

Cabinet Construction and Refrigeration
- Heavy-gauge steel cabinets with high-impact, easy to clean epoxy finish.
- CFC-free insulation, minimum 5" urethane foam to protect against high ambient temperatures.
- High strength outer door with 4" foam insulation; dual cam action hardware, lockable, with heavy-duty ball bearing hinges.
- Independent double-seal door gaskets to minimize frost build-up; individual inner doors minimize cold air loss during openings.
- Extra sound insulation to improve operating environment.
- Recessed, heavy-duty casters, built-in 1" diameter access port, standard.
- Industrial quality, hermetically-sealed compressors.
- Exclusive down-feed evaporator and automatic scrubbing cycle for maximum refrigerant flow.
- Washable condenser intake filter for unrestricted air-flow.

Solid-state controls and alarm monitor system are contained in an integrated control panel.
Touchpad controls are tamper-resistant with single multi-point key switch
for added security.
