CUSTOM BLOOD BANK PRODUCTS
Jewett engineering experience in blood bank storage systems extends beyond standard products to include walk-in rooms, refrigerated blood
labeling stations, processing and distribution centers and custom engineered or modified refrigerators and freezers.

Jewett walk-in refrigerators and freezers provide
maximum temperature stability for large volume
storage requirements.
Walk-In Rooms
For high volume storage at +4°C controlled temperatures, Jewett walk-in rooms represent balanced combinations of refrigeration systems,
electronic controls, microprocessor-based alarm/monitors systems, and a range of doors, ramps and pass-thrus to assure accurate inventory
control and security. Features include:
- Electronic temperature control, alarm, monitoring and recording systems to meet AABB, ANRC, and FDA criteria for proper blood
component storage.
- Design temperatures for +4°C refrigeration and processing or -30°C preservation.
- Pre-fabricated room panels installed on-site, with hundreds of room sizes available.
- Single or dual refrigeration systems.
- Emergency, automatic or programmed switch-over of refrigeration systems.
- Air-cooled, water-cooled or combination condensing units, top-mounted, side mounted or remote located.
- Refrigeration systems, air-flow and air exchange sized to permit safe occupancy, instrumentation and processing equipment.
- Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted air flow plenums for proper air circulation and maximum uniformity.
