8.13.9 The average coverage is 8 gallons/100 sq. ft. (3.3 liters per square meter), per ply.
8.13.10 Nail or mechanically fasten the modified bitumen sheet as prescribed in the appropriate flashing specification.
8.13.11 All exposed nail heads must be covered with a layer of MBR Utility Cement.
8.13.12 Tools and equipment can be cleaned with mineral spirits.
8.14 Surfacing
8.14.1 JM requires that smooth surface APP flashing membrane
materials be coated with an approved JM roof coating such as TopGard Type A, TopGard Type B, or Fibrated Aluminum Roof Coating. Hot bitumen is not an acceptable coating.8.14.2 It is not necessary to apply a surfacing to a granulated APP
flashing membrane material. These materials are manufactured with integral ceramic granules that protect the underlying bitumen from the elements.
