Technical Data

For Use Over Metal Decks
The minimum thicknesses of Fiber Glass Roof Insulation over
metal decks are as follows:

Fiber Glass Roof Tape
Description
Fiber Glass Roof Tape is a fiber glass mat composed of
inorganic glass fibers and
resinous binder designed for use with Fiber Glass Roof Insulation to reinforce the roofing
membrane at the insulation joints. Reinforcement reduces stress on the membrane from deck
movement, changes in temperature, or humidity. Fiber Glass Roof Tape also helps prevent
asphalt migration at the joints. Taping insulation joints is recommended for all
insulations but not required unless specified as a part of the membrane system.
Sizes
Fiber Glass Roof Tape is available in 6" (152 mm) wide
by 300' (91 m) rolls.
