All Justice fixtures are designed for mounting to a metal, "4-0" junction box (J-box). For most applications, sconces should be mounted so that the top edge of the fixture is approximately 70" from the floor.

To simplify installation at the proper height, we have provided each sconce's "Mounting Center" dimension. Once the desired height of the top edge of the sconce is determined, subtract the Mounting Center dimension to determine the correct height for the center of the J-box.

All fixtures are shipped with all necessary hardware (with the exception of wire nuts) for a typical installation to a standard metal J-box. The J-box should be mounted flush with the finished wall surface, and positioned so that the supplied fixture mounting strap installs at a 45 degree angle to plumb. Outdoor fixtures UL listed as Suitable for Wet Locations also require a silicone bead around the full perimeter of the sconce to seal it to the wall surface and prevent water from reaching the electrical connections. Installation instructions are included with each fixture.
