WARRANTY

We warranty all goods we manufacture to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Any goods found to be defective, upon examination by us, within one year from the date of shipment, shall be replaced by us free of charge or, at our option, applicable credit allowed. This warranty shall be null and void and of no effect unless we are notified of such defect within one year from date of shipment. Notification shall be directed to Lexington Standard Corporation, attention of the Customer Service Manger.

No goods may be returned to us without prior written approval.

Explicitly excluded from this warranty are: painted, duranodic, or other special finishes; labor required to remove and/or reinstall original or replacement parts.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, overloading, accident, or neglect. This warranty does not cover alterations, modifications, or additions unless the change is acknowledged, in writing, by Lexington Standard Corporation. This warranty does not apply to cases when the product has been installed and then is found to be unacceptable, when in fact the customer was aware that the unacceptable condition existed prior to installation. This warranty does not apply to fatigue damage or failure resulting from induced vibration, harmonic vibration caused by movement of air currents around the product, or by any other local conditions.

Satisfactory performance of lighting standards is dependent upon the standard being properly attached to a supporting foundation of adequate design. Lexington does not design or offer recommendations for foundations.

Luminaires must be affixed at the time the standard is erected or this warranty is voided.

AASHTO

American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials

The aluminum light standards shown in this catalog have been designed in compliance with the AASHTO Standard Specifications for Structural Support for Highway Signs, Luminaires, and Traffic Signals as published in 1975, amended and adopted in 1985 and 1994.

The AASHTO calculations used for this catalog are based, among other things, on the assumption that the bottom of the light standard is at grade level. If light standards are to be mounted above grade (such as on a wall, bridge, parking ramp, or roof), call Lexington for Assistance for determining the correct standard for that application.

The allowable effective projected areas listed in this catalog are intended to be for luminaires. They do not reflect load resulting from the attachment to the standard of banners, signs, flags, wiring, decorative lights, or anything other than luminaires. Call Lexington for selection assistance if the light standard is to support more than luminaires or accessories listed in this catalog.

Light standard design requires consideration of field conditions such as (but not limited to) wind zone, height and appendages. Consideration must be given by the designer/specifier to assure adequacy of design for the application. For assistance, call Lexington Customer Service at (800) 899-7577.

CWB/CSA

All products shown in this catalog meet the requirements of the Canadian Welding Bureau and the Canadian Standards Association.
