Keelgrid is an all fiberglass and plastic suspended ceiling system for areas requiring non-metal components because of high humidity, frequent washing, corrosive atmosphere, or other special conditions. ICBO approved per Evaluation Report Number 5376.

Main runners, cross tees and wall angles are pultruded fiberglass reinforced plastic components utilizing continuous fiberglass strands, special resins, special veils, custom designed special steel dies and secondary machining equipment with built-in quality control to closely monitor the finished product. The assembly and hold down clips are manufactured from virgin, top grade PVC and are function-fit tested to assure easy field assembly.

KEEL Manufacturing is the innovator of the fiberglass suspended ceiling grid system. The system was first produced in vinyl plastic in 1976 and produced in fiberglass in 1980. It was installed initially in a food processing customer's production areas in the Wisconsin market. Shortly thereafter, KEELGRID expanded to other states and foreign countries.
