| SECTION 09120 CEILING ORID SYSTEM KEMLITE® SANIGRID®
PART 1: GENERAL
1.01 DESCRIPTION:
This section describes the requirements for furnishing and
installing fiberglass reinforced ceiling grid according to manufacturer's recommendations.
1.02 SUBMITTALS:
Submit in accordance with Section (Insert Section
Number)
- Two samples of each grid member and attachment clip.
- Shop Drawings: Indicate the location of main tees and cross
tees.
- Installation Guide #6244.
1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE
Provide grid and clips only from the manufacturer specified
to ensure warranty.
1.04 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING:
- Delivery of Materials: Deliver grid and accessories in
manufacturer's unopened cartons.
- Storage of Materials: Store cartons in a dry place at the
project site.
1.05 PROJECT CONDITIONS:
- Installation shall not begin until building is enclosed,
permanent heating and cooling equipment is in operation, and residual moisture from
plaster, concrete or terrazzo work has dissipated.
- During installation and for not less than 48 hours before,
maintain an ambient temperature and relative humidity similar to what will be the normal
operating conditions of the room
