OCCULT SERIES

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Occult Series features a uniquely attractive door which completely covers all exposed portions of the cabinet, and its concealed hinge permits the door to open 180°. This exceptional door and hinge design combine to give the Occult a trimless appearance. Although the 3/4" flange, extending around the box, is outside of the wall, it is completely covered when the door is closed.

BOX SPECIFICATION: All Occult units have a cold-rolled steel box. The standard color is matte black. All boxes for standard units have a 3/4" wide flange. All fire-rated, Flame-Shield Occults have a 1-1/2" wide flange. The O-4016 is furnished with a heavy gauge steel shelf, 12" up from the bottom of the box, leaving approximately 28" of available extinguisher height.

DOOR SPECIFICATION: The Occult door is 3/4" thick in either the standard steel or optional aluminum or stainless steel. It is available only with a solid or vertical due design. The steel door is cold-rolled steel with a standard finish of white baked acrylic enamel, which can be used either as a finish or prime coat. The aluminum door has a satin anodized finish. Clear anodized is standard and a wide selection of optional color anodized finishes is available. To specify the aluminum door, use the prefix "AL" before the model number. The stainless steel door is #4 finish, 304 stainless steel. To specify the stainless steel door, use is #4 finish, 304 stainless steel. To specify the stainless steel door, use the prefix "SS" before the model number. All Occult doors come with a satin finish pull handle with a self-adjusting roller catch. If desired, the pull handle can be deleted. The concealed hinge is constructed of aluminum with a stainless steel pin. Some of the more popular Occult door styles are illustrated below; however, the full selection is outlined in the chart below.

TO SPECIFY THE OCCULT SERIES:

1. Use the appropriate prefix for the trim and door material. If STEEL -- no prefix is required. If aluminum - use "AL". If stainless steel - use "SS". If brass - use "B". If bronze - use "BZ". Contact factory if door is to be #8 stainless steel.

2. Select the required model number from the table below.

3. Select the door style (Solid or Vertical Duo) and if desired, the optional die cut lettering (see page 23).

4. If Vertical Duo door is specified, select the required door glazing and options from the table below. (DSA glass is standard).
