LASCO Bathware celebrated its golden anniversary in 1997 as part of the LASCO Products family of companies. LASCO started in Los Angeles, California in 1947. The company began manufacturing fiberglass panels in 1950 and added extruded pipe in 1957. In 1965, the Bathware division was started.

LASCO was purchased by Tomkins Industries in 1990 and has won the parent company's Innovation Award twice. LASCO Bathware has proven that it is an industry leader with the bold attitude that has helped to grow the business substantially. The company now consists of eight strategically placed manufacturing facilities located throughout the nation. And, to keep up with the demand, a private fleet of 242 trucks and trailers makes deliveries to thousands of supply houses and job sites daily.

LASCO's philosophy includes investing heavily in the services that will make a customer satisfied enough to come back again and again. Those services include product quality assurance, engineering and technical support expertise, outstanding customer service, a corps of more than 123 field sales people, comprehensive warranties, and a national network of distributors and dealers.

LASCO produces nearly one out of four bath fixtures sold annually in the U.S. and believes the most important investment that can be made is in the product. perhaps this philosophy is the reason LASCO Bathware is known as "America's Bathtub Company".

LASCO's wide range of acrylic and gel coat surfaced FRP fixtures include smooth wall and simulated ceramic tile tub/showers, showers, bathtubs, and shower pans in a variety of shapes and sizes. LASCO has also created specialty product lines including the luxurious, upscale Luxury Whirlpool line, an attractively priced Builder's Choice™ line of whirlpools, the RemodeLine™ of sectional products, FreedomLine™ assisted care and barrier-free fixtures, and the LASCO Door line of custom engineered shower enclosures. The LASCO steam, acrylic modules and sectionals are equipped with a pre-mounted steam generator and steam sealed shower door for a comfortable, soothing steam experience.
