SURFACE PREPARATION
LATICRETE® 3701 SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION:
The original liquid latex admix designed for use with LATICRETE® 226 Thick Bed Mortar Mix to make high strength plasters, concrete patches and underlayments. Can be mixed with various portland cement/sand mixtures.

ADVANTAGES:
A component of the LATICRETE Labor and Materials Warranty System when used with 226 Thick Bed Mortar Mix. Improves adhesion and produces frost, shock and chemical resistant mortars.

 PACKAGING:
3701 Admix.
1 U.S. gallon (3.8 l) jug; packed 6 jugs per carton; 28 cartons per pallet

5 U.S. gallon (19 l) pail; 48 pails per pallet

226 Powder
60 lb. (27 kg) bag; 54 bags per pallet

COVERAGE:
When used as a leveling bed, approximately 1 U.S. gallon (3.8 l) of 3701 is required per bag of 226.

LATICRETE® PRO-FLOAT SYSTEM
Pro-Float Reinforced Mortar Mix

DESCRIPTION:
A thin, lightweight, fiber- reinforced mortar bed incorporating a corrosion-proof grid. Provides a high-strength substrate for tile, marble and stone.

ADVANTAGES:
Allows permanent installations over inadequate substrates such as hardwood strip flooring, single layer plywood, luan and chipboard. Ideal for counter tops and wall applications.

 COVERAGE:
Four bags of LATICRETE®  249 mortar mix for one carton of 1/4" (6 mm) Pro-Float grid (3 pallets mortar mix for 1 pallet of 1/4" [6 mm] Pro-Float);

Five bags LATICRETE® 249 mortar mix for one carton of 1/2" (12 mm) Pro-Float grid (4 pallets mortar mix for 1 pallet 1/2" [12 mm] Pro-Float).

LATICRETE® PRO-FLOAT GRIDS
1/4"(6mm) GRID
DESCRIPTION:
1/4" (6mm) high interlocking grid for use with 249 Pro-Float fiber-reinforced mortar mix. Sub floor must meet deflection requirements for installation of ceramic tile.

ADVANTAGES:
Ideal for remodeling and flooring applications over difficult substrates as well as directly over existing vinyl, asphalt and linoleum floors.

PACKAGING:
50-16" (400 mm) squares per 13 lb. (6 kg) carton; 36 cartons per pallet

COVERAGE:
1.78 sq.ft. (.16 m2) per piece; 89 sq.ft. (8.3 m2) per carton

 1/2"(12 mm) GRID
DESCRIPTION:
1/2" high interlocking grid for use on walls and floors with LATICRETE 249 Pro-Float fiber-reinforced mortar mix.

ADVANTAGES:
Ideal for improving substandard subfloors. Use for walls or floors for a high-strength, seamless tile, marble or stone substrate.

PACKAGING:
32-16" (400 mm) squares per 9 lb.
(4 kg) carton; 48 cartons per pallet

COVERAGE:
1.78 ft2 (.16 m2) per piece;
57 ft2 (5.3 m2) per carton

LATICRETE® 249 PRO-FLOAT MORTAR MIX
Pro-Float Mortar DESCRIPTION:
Pre-packaged mortar specifically developed for use with Pro-Float grid. Fiber-reinforced and polymer fortified for extra strength and flexibility.

ADVANTAGES:
Simply mix with water and trowel into grid for a premium, durable mortar bed ideal for installing tile.

PACKAGING:
Grey powder in 60 lb. (27 kg) bag;
56 bags per pallet

 COVERAGE:
25 ft2 (2.3 m2) per bag with 1/4" (6mm) Pro-Float grid;

14 ft2 (1.4 m2) per bag with 1/2" (12 mm) Pro-Float grid.
