HORIZONTAL SLIDING BOARDS
GENERAL
Horizontal sliding boards double the writing and visual display area of the wall space
used. Lemco's construction method makes this sliding unit the most popular slider in the
industry. Rolling components are assembled for smooth operation. Trim connections are
corner locked and panels are fabricated with industrial grade materials. Trim is 6063-T5
extruded aluminum alloy. These units are useful where lectures are given or where advance
preparation requires a portion of the presentation be concealed for the appropriate time.Each sliding unit consists of a fixed back panel, and 1 or more sliding
panels. There are several variations available.
MODEL 500
This unit has one fixed back panel and two tracks with one sliding panel on each track.
The size of each sliding panel is equal to 1/2 of the overall length of the slider. Standard
sizes to 24' long and 5' high.
MODEL 600
This unit has one fixed back panel centered in the frame and two tracks with two sliding
panels on each track. The size of each sliding panel is equal to 1/4 of the overall length
of the slider. Two face panels, one at each end are equal to 1/4 of the overall length. Standard
sizes to 24' long and 5 high.
Heavy duty aluminum frame in etched and satin anodized finish (dark
bronze is also available). Standard depth of frame is 3 1/2".
Chalkboard or markerboard are normally used in these units, however
any of Lemco's writing or tack surfaces may be supplied on any panel.
CUSTOM SIZES
Lemco has engineered and installed horizontal sliding units that do not fall within the
descriptions listed above. We have manufactured units 30 feet long, 8 feet high with as
many as 22 sliding panels. Please contact the factory for any special products you may
need. If you are specifying longer length boards and need the boards disassembled to fit
into a room; we can build the slider, disassemble and mark it for reassembly. |
