To find light output in footcandles (fc) at any distance: CBCP / (throw distance)2 = fc To find any beam diameter at any distance: throw distance x mf = beam diameter SPECIFICATIONS The luminaire shall be a 200 to 350 watt per circuit striplight with rim mount lamp holders to accept 12 volt MR-11 lamps of maximum 35 watts each. The unit shall be wired with series circuits of 10 lamps each. Neon indicator lamps shall be located on the front of the unit providing viewing without disturbing the focus setting of the unit. The indicator lamps shall be wired in parallel with each MR11 lamp pair to indicate lamp failure and to allow quick relamping. The fixture shall be constructed of all welded code gauge steel. Cross-sectional dimensions (height and width) shall not exceed 3-1/2" x 4-1/2", allowing the unit to be used where masking must be kept to a minimum. The unit shall be equipped with color frame holders with a spring-hinged retaining clip on top to prevent accidental removal. Relamping shall be accomplished from the top of the fixture by releasing the captive latch on the lamp access door and removing the lamp from the lampholder. Relamping shall be accomplished without disturbing the prefocused lamp alignment. The luminaire shall be supplied with two 16 gauge single mount trunnion for overhead or floor use, color frames, and three foot, three wire leads encased in fiberglass steeving.
