ie. if your fixture is 10' from the subject to be lit, the beam diameter would be:

beam angle 10' x 1.53 = 15'
field angle 10' x 2.75 = 27'

INTENSITY

ie. if your fixture is 10' from the subject to be lit, and lamped with a 250GSP iamp the footcandLe output would be: 2,700 / 100 = 27 fc (10 x10 = 100)

NOTE: The BEAM ANGLE and FIELD ANGLE are both factors that determine a BEAM SPREAD. BEAM ANGLE determines a spread whose intensities at its edges are 50% of its center intensity. FIELD ANGLE determines a spread whose intensities at its edges are 10% of its center intensity.

SPECIFICATIONS

The luminaire shall be a 250 to 400 watt 10" elliptical reflector floodlight with a medium screw base socket, to accept 250-400G incandescent lamp, housed inside an aluminum reflector. The socket housing shall be cast aluminum and ribbed for cooler operation. The fixture shall have a steel color frame holder on two sides and the bottom which allows for 360 degree rotation. Relamping shall be accomplished from the front of the unit without disturbing the prefocused alignment. The luminaire shall be supplied with a rigid strap yoke, color frame and a three foot, three wire lead encased in black fiberglass sleeving.

The exterior finish shall be baked enamel.
