ILLUMINATION SPREAD
ie. if your fixture is 24' from the subject to be lit, the beam diameter would be: beam angle 24' x 1.1=26' INTENSITY
ie. if your fixture is 24' from the subject to e lit,, and lamped with a FHM lamp the footcndle output would be: 12500/576=22 fc(24 x 24 = 576) NOTE: The BEAM ANGLE and FIELD ANGLE are both factors that determine a BEAM SPREAD. BEAM ANGLE determines a spread whose intensifies at its edges are 50% of its center intensity. FIELD ANGLE determines a spread whose intensities at its edges are 10% of its center intensity. mf = multiplying factor CBCP = Center Beam Candle Power * denotes incandescent lamp To find beam diameter at any distance; throw distance x mf = beam diameter To find light output in footcandles (fc) at any distance; CBCP / (throw distance)2 = fc SPECIFICATIONS The luminaire shall be a 300 to 1000 watt reflector floodlight with one pair of recessed single contact sockets, to accept double ended lamp, housed in a 24 gauge patterned aluminum asymétrie reflector. The fixture shall be constructed of an all welded steel body with aluminum barn doors. The two-way barn doors shall be attached to the unit with a bolt and steel lock nut to allow movement of the leaves without loosening the nut and bolt assembly. All ventilating ports shall be baffled to minimize light leakage. Relamping shall be accomplished from the front of the unit by applying outward pressure to the sockets and removing the lamp. Relamping will be completed without disturbing the prefocused lamp alignment. The luminaire shall be supplied with a rigid strap yoke and a three foot. three wire lead encased in black fiberglass sleeving. The exterior finish shall be baked enamel and the barn doors shall be a matte black enamel. |
