NOTE: The BEAM ANGLE and FIELD ANGLE are both factors that determine a BEAM SPREAD. BEAM ANGLE determines a spread whose intensifies at its edges are 50% of its center intensity. FIELD ANGLE determines a spread whose intensities at its edges are 10% of its center intensity.

SPECIFICATIONS

The luminaire shall be a 600 watt followspot with a Polarized two pin socket, to accept an axially mounted Q600 DYS lamp, housed in an elliptical flatted Alzak aluminum reflector. The fixture shall be constructed of an all welded steel body with extruded aluminum side rails. One 4.5 x 16 and one 3.5 x 10 lens shall be mounted on movable lens carriers to allow individual focusing via locking thumb screws. The optical system shall also contain a blackout shutter and iris. Two covers allow top access to the optical assembly for ease in cleaning and maintenance.

Relamping shall be accomplished from the rear of the unit by loosening two thumb screws and removing the socket plate from unit. Relamping will be completed without disturbing the prefocused lamp alignment.

The luminaire shall have an illuminated on/off switch, top operated iris and shutter control, a whisper fan cooling system, steel yoke with stand and a twelve foot cordset.

The exterior finish shall be baked enamel.

641A Color Changer 641 A 7-1/2 x 7-1/2 Adapter

The 641 Color Changer has six colors plus a black-out disc and doughnut. Made to mount onto our Mini-Followspot it provides the spot with a traditional pivot style color boom weighing only five pounds.

With the addition of the 7-1/2 x 7-1/2 adaptor the changer will mount onto almost any fixture using a standard 7-1/2 x 7-1/2 color frame including most ellipsoidals, 6" fresnels, PAR 38's and PAR 56's. This enables people who do not actually require a full-featured followspot or those on a tight budget to simulate the effect of a followspot for a much lower cost.
