The 5000LC has a rack mount design that enables this system to stay at the
technological forefront by simply replacing electronic cards. The seven available card
slots provide for future expansion of new modems, communication and integration cards. The
built-in terminal blocks simplify both control station and module wiring by allowing the
installer to keep "clean" wiring connections to the Central Control Unit. A
built-in redundant processor in the controller cabinet provides fail safe operations in
case of operational malfunction by the main processor.
LiteTouch gives you the opportunity to upgrade from
previous LiteTouch systems without changing wiring or stations. The installation is
simple; generally only requiring the changing of the controller and some reprogramming.
The 5000 LC comes with non-volatile flash memory to store
all programs. It also offers extended power outage battery backup. The system is
"live" during job uploading which provides the ability for lights and switches
to function without interruption during system changes. LiteWare software allows users to
incorporate utilities to plan, design and program any 5000LC project and is operational
with Windows 95 and 98 N/T.
