| SCENARIO (08-8200-XXX) The LiteTouch Scenario is a stand alone, wall mounted scene preset system capable of controlling up to four independent dimming or switching loads. Each load can be controlled in one of five ways:
Each Scenario has four independent load control switches, four scene switches, and a master off switch. In addition, up to two remote switch stations may be connected to each Scenario without the need for additional power supplied. These stations shall be configured with four, five or nine switches. The four button configuration will offer control of the Scenario's four scenes. The five switch will offer the four scene switches as well as a master off. The nine switch station shall mirror the Scenario. Infrared remote capability shall be available on the five and nine button remote switch stations. Using LiteTouch control station wire, up to sixteen Scenarios* may be connected together to form an integrated system. In such a system, any scene switch or master off switch (of a Scenario) shall control any or all loads on any or all Scenarios. Special features and capabilities shall include user programmable fade rates that can be independently set for each scene and the master off. The Scenario will also provide manual override capability, and integrated LEDs to indicate load and system status. Custom engraving is an option LiteTouch recommends for easy switch identification. * Not available when using control module to Scenario Interface Module. CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT (Elite: 08-2002-32 & 08-2202-38) (Standard: 08-2000-01 & 08-2000-06) (Compact: 08-2001-10 & 10-2001-16) The system shall be based around a central control unit which receives all switch information, processes the commands, and transmits the load control data. The CCUs shall retain switch and load assignment information indefinitely and current system status information through power interruptions in excess of two (2) days. The Standard and Compact CCUs shall be capable of addressing 2304 unique switches and up to 800 independent loads. The Elite CCU shall be capable of addressing 2304 unique switches and up to 2048 independent loads. The CCU shall have no software limit on the number of masters and presets which may be assigned. Masters and scene presets may overlap load assignments with no logical conflict. All switch to load assignments, including masters and presets must be fully user programmable in a friendly menu driven environment. Preset memory levels must be programmable at the preset switch. Preset fades shall make a smooth continuous transition, from the initial levels to the memory levels, in a time which in independently programmable for each preset switch. The CCU shall include a real time clock and calendar which may be used press any switch programmed in the system. Events may be programmed to occur on specific dates, specific days of the week, or on a daily basis. The CCU shall include a telephone/modem interface option which will allow up to 900 system switches to be operated remotely over the telephone. This interface will also allow access to a system from a remote computer and modem equipped with the appropriate LiteTouch software. The operations available from the remote computer will be upload/download (for system alteration and backup) and diagnostic capability. The selection of telephone or modem interface operation shall be accomplished from the CCU. When telephone operation is selected, a security access code shall be used to prevent unwanted entry. When modem operation is selected, he software shall use techniques that prevent random modem dialers from accessing the system. The CCUs shall have an RS-232 computer interface port which will allow system operation via a connected computer end software to be provided by others. ENCLOSURES (4 module: 08-8024-00) (4 module lids: Surface-08-2580-008; Recess-08-2580-008) (2 module: 08-8024-08) (2 module lids; Surface-08-2580-022; Recess-08-2580-024) The power control modules and power supplies shall be housed in NEMA 1,16 gauge steel LiteTouch rough-in enclosures. In accordance with UL and UEC requirements, the interior space shall include a barrier to isolate line and low-voltage sections. Each enclosure shall feature ground and common terminal strips as well as conveniently located knockouts for installation. Each enclosure shall measure either 37" W x 20" H x 4" D or 20" H x 20" W x 4" D. The enclosure shall be painted non-glare black with thermal set powdered epoxy resin. The enclosure shall be surface or recess mounted. Each enclosure should be located in an environment where ambient temperatures do not exceed 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit). EQUIPMENT MOUNTING BOXES CCU/STATION BOXES Surface Mount CCU Backbox (08-8025-01) The Surface Mount CCU Backbox shall serve as a mounting fixture for the CCU and shall provide protection for the interface wiring. It will be a simple rough-in box compatible with a Standard CCU, a Compact CCU, or an Elite Connection Module. The backbox may be recessed into a wall but the CCU shall still surface mount to it and protrude from the wall. Waterproof Station Backbox (08-8026-02) The Waterproof Backbox will protect the control station from water damage (i.e. control stations mounted in an outdoor environment with direct contact to the elements such as boat docks or near beaches). The flange will sink flush with the wall leaving only a 1/4" door protruding from the wall. This must be installed before the drywall is hung. |
