| PROBLEM |
SOLUTION |
| Fluorescent office lighting creates glare on
computer screens - causes eyestrain and vision problems |
Lumax dimmable fixtures let people control one
or more fixtures - dim to improve screen visibility, bright for close work. |
- For new construction and retrofit
applications where variable light levels are desired - such as conference rooms, training
facilities, private offices, and CAD workstations. Ideal for creating zoned lighting in a
larger space.
- Die-formed steel housing and ends exceed
code gauge. Embossed for strength and uniformity. Heavy-duty ends attach to housing with
interlocking tabs and screws. Built-in EQ clips.
- Slope-sided housing and contoured ballast
cover for superior light control. Cover easily removed without tools.
- Quick-access plate for convenient power
connection.
- Air models with air slots in housing top,
sides or both - with or without control vanes.
- Die-formed steel hinges and spring-loaded
latches, designed for safe suspension of louver for relamping and precise self-alignment
and positive locking when louver is closed. Latching/hinging is reversible; louver is
easily removed without tools.
- Integral light seals prevent light leaks
without use of gasketing.
- Designed for NEMA type G (grid) and Type F
(flange) ceilings. Consult factory for compatibility with other ceiling systems.
- Metal parts pretreated with a phosphate
bonding process and post-painted with an electrostatically - applied high temperature
baked enamel for superior quality and durability. The ends are black and white baked
enamel. White surfaces have reflectance in excess of 89%. All black reveal areas,
including hardware, finished non-reflective flat black to create a floating louver
appearance.
- Energy-saving and Electronic Class P,
CBM/ETL certified, HPF ballasts comply with Federal Energy Efficiency Standards
