Spring-loaded cam latches (A) release easily, lock securely. Unique hinge (B) fits in small teardrop hole (C) in housing. When fully opened for relamping, door frame cannot be jarred loose from housing. Door frame can be removed, without tools, when hinges are positioned at a release angle of 30°-35°. Latching/hinging is reversible. Tab (D) automatically centers door frame for perfect alignment and easy, one-touch closure. All hardware is finished matte black to blend with the full black reveal.

Top slots (T) provide heat removal/air extraction. Side slots (S) provide air supply or return. Combination (C) top and side slots offer full air capability.

Optional top or side mount control vanes modify air flow, and may be adjusted from fully open to fully closed. UltraSpec air models are compatible with air equipment by major manufacturers.

FLOATING LOUVERS

UltraSpec fixtures are available with semi-specular silver or gold aluminum louvers. Used in lieu of a lensed door, they feature a full black reveal for a floating louver appearance. Louvers are 1-1/2" high; available in 3" and 3-1/2" (nominal) cell sizes.
