Vandal Resistant Luminaire

APPLICATION
  • High efficiency fixture for vandal-prone areas.
  • Ideal choice for prisons, schools, pedestrian tunnels, underground facilities and other applications where fixtures may be subject to vandalism.
CONSTRUCTION
  • Die-formed code gauge steel housing.
  • High-impact .187" thick prismatic polycarbonate lens totally encloses housing; no metal exposed.
  • Tamper-resistant stainless steel spanner-head lens screws and closed cell polyethylene gasket standard.
  • Suitable for damp location. Wet location models available.
  • Wide units*: Shallow housing model mounts and wires through top of fixture. Deep housing model provides through-wiring and surface conduit mounting.
  • Narrow units*: Top-wiring or conduit mounting in same fixture.

* Ample knockouts provided. Conduit connectors provided by others.

FINISH
  • All metal parts pretreated with a phosphate bonding process and post-painted with an electrostatically-applied high temperature baked white enamel for superior quality and durability. Reflectance in excess of 89%.
ELECTRICAL
  • Energy-saving and Electronic Class P, CBM/ETL certified HPF ballasts comply with Federal Energy Efficiency Standards .
  • U.L. listed and c listed.
  • I.B.E.W. labeled.
