Lamping
Suggested lamping is listed for each item. lamps are not included in fixture price . In most cases lamps listed ae maximum wattages.
Fluorescent Lamps
Fluorescent fixtures listed as having electronic ballasts (*) require 4-pin-base fluorescent lamps.

Metal halide Lamps
Coated (frosted) metal halide lamps recommended for all fixtures.

Quartz Halogen Lamps
Quartz halogen fixtures 250 watts and lower are equipped for double-contact baynet base lamps. Fixtures over 250 watts are equipped with minican base. All quartz units come with reflector and adjustable housing unless noted.
Ballasts and Housings
Metal halide fixtures include an "F" can, thermally protected 120V-277V HPF ballast for remote mounting unless noted. Magnetic metal halide ballasts mounted in fixture use an encapsulated core and coil ballast surrounded with polyester resin for quiet operation.
Electronic ballasts mounted in fixture are available for some sconces with 70- and 100- watt metal halide lamp options. See catalog.
Ballasts are supplied and included in fixture price. Reflector housing will be in a fixed position unless listed as adjustable.
Fluorescent fixtures are supplied with high power factor (HPF) ballasts that are "A" sound rated and "P" type thermally protected. All ballasts are 120V standard, 277V and 347V optional on some units at additional cost. All fluorescent ballasts are contained in the fixture.
All wall-mounted fixtures are designed for permanent mounting to recessed octagon outlet boxes.
Exterior Application
The DS-62 series is available for exterior use, either damp or wet location. Other fixtures may be modified for exterior use at additional cost. Please consult factory.
Acrylic
All acrylics have minimum starting thickness of .125 in.
Virgin white acrylic standard. faux alabaster and white swirl acrylic available where indicated by "X" and "V" option.
Stem/Hanger Options
Up to three feet of stem or chin is included in the price of all fixtures. Please specify overall length, ceiling to bottom of fixture. Minimum canopy depth is standard (for recessed outlet boxes). All stem-mounted units are designed for flat ceiling mounting. Please indicate any ceiling slope or whether deep canopy is required.
All pendant fixtures are standard with stem type shown. Stem options below also are available on may fixtures at no extra charge. Please factory for availability.
WARRANTY
Manning Lighting, Inc. warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship. Manning will, without charge, either repair, replace or have repaired any properly installed fixture which fails under normal operating conditions within THREE YEARS from the date of shipment.
Should defect occur, Manning Lighting, Inc. reserves the right to decide between replacement or repair should fixtures be returned to us .
This warranty covers only equipment manufactured by Manning Lighting, Inc. and does not include transportation, labor or installation charges, nor does it apply to any components not manufactured by Manning Lighting, etc.
This warranty does not cover any defects or damages caused by shipping. Improper installation or abuse to the product under normal use. It does not cover any malfunction due to improper maintenance of the fixture.
This warranty is not effective unless written authorization is received from Manning Lighting. Inc. concerning the replacement or repair of defective fixtures.
