Wood Curved and Corner Window - Page 25

WOOD CURVED & CORNER WINDOW.

THE LATEST CURVE IN WINDOW DESIGN.

For a truly unique addition to your home design, you can't beat a Marvin curved glass window. Curved glass windows represent great new potential in contemporary design, where you can employ your most innovative ideas. Incorporate them into radiused walls, towers, or as an alternative to a conventional bow or bay window. Or, use them to replicate the curved glass windows of a century ago.

A HISTORIC DESIGN FOR CONTEMPORARY BEAUTY

Curved glass Single Hungs feature 11/16" thick jambs, 2 3/4" thick sills and 13/4" thick sash for strength and energy efficiency. Standard jamb depth is 4 9/16". High quality weatherstripping is applied to the header, check rail and bottom rail. 3/4" insulating glass is standard.

A coil spring bIock-and-tackle balance system makes for easy sash operation. Bottom sash tilts into the room for easy cleaning or it can be removed altogether. Glass is held in place with removable wood bead stops for ease of repair.

Curved glass Single Hungs are available in nine standard sizes. Marvin also manufactures curved glass picture windows in 10 standard sizes to complement curved glass Single Hungs. Jamb extensions, assemblies, brick mould casing or various flat casing widths are available to meet a variety of needs.

Optional sash lifts and locks are available in standard bronze or optional white and brass plated. Removable wood grilles are also available to enhance a traditional look.
