AN ECONOMICAL SOLUTION

Although the sash in many old double hung windows are worn out, the frames and trim are often in good condition. The Marvin Tilt Pac^® saves time and money by replacing only the parts that need replacing. It also reduces installation costs.

Wood or clad Tilt Pacs are available in residential, Magnum, Double and Single Hung Historic window types. And, the same devotion to quality and construction present in our Double Hung is also present in the Tilt Pac.

The Tilt Pac kit includes two energy-efficient wood or clad wood sash and all the hardware needed to install them. Sash are 13/8" thick and have slot and tenon joints. A 14 degree bevel is standard on the bottom rail with a choice of custom bevels available. High-quality weatherstripping and exterior-glazed insulating glass further increase energy efficiency. Like the Double Hung, both sash operate to provide ventilation and tilt in for easy cleaning. They can also be easily removed for finishing.

An aluminum clad Tilt Pac is available in five standard colors for customers that desire a lowmaintenance exterior. It has the same basic features and options of the wood version. Sash have .055" thick cladding. Exterior glazing with a vinyl glazing bead provides excellent water resistance.

INSTALLS IN A FEW EASY STEPS

•    Remove existing sash hardware *

•    Nail metal brackets evenly down both sides of the window

•    Install new jamb hardware, stops and foam gaskets Liners can be snapped onto the brackets.

•    Install new sash. Replace the original inside stops.

The Magnum Tilt Pac is a bigger, tougher version of our Tilt Pac. It's perfect for commercial renovation. Sash are a full 13/4" thick for strength and stability even in large sizes. 3/4" insulating glass is standard. Hardware is equipped with four double-coil springs and blockand-tackle balances for easy operation in any size.

The best part about the Tilt Pac is that it too is Made To Order Numerous standard sizes are available as are custom sizes. Enhance them with divided lites to match the original style. They're available with screens or combination storm/screen units. Choose from several glazing options like insulating glass, Northern or Southern Low E coatings, argon gas, solar, obscure or even beveled glass.

*In some cases inside stops, weight/pulley systems and interior trim will have to be removed.
