Select the product style in wood or clad wood. |

Determine the product size by using one of 3 methods:
A. Measure the masonry opening or;
B. Measure the rough opening or;
C. Establish the frame size.
Specify width first, height second.
Note: At the top and sides of the window there should be a 1/2" space between the frame and the rough opening. |

Identify the product's unit number (example: WCM2824 is a wood casemaster with rough opening of 2'5" wide x 2'9/16* high).
(See drawing.) If you've determined your measurements require a custom size or shape, your Marvin dealer will assist you. |

Select any additional options specific to the selected product style (example: head or seat boards for bows and bays). |
NOTE: Since Marvin products are made to order and therefore not returnable, it is Important to consult with a Marvin dealer before finalizing
your order. Your dealer will help you specify the order that fits your needs.




1. Set your windows in a dry protected area prior to installation. It is very important to install your Marvin products as soon after delivery as
possible so the interior and exterior can be finished.
2. A proper installation is critical to performance of the product - it should be done by a competent and experienced person, in accordance
with our instructions.
3. Before finishing, bare wood surfaces must be clean and dry. Remove handling marks, debris or effects of exposure to moisture by sanding
lightly with 3/0 or 5/0 sandpaper and clean before applying finish.
4. For exterior painting; use only a high quality base or latex paint. Apply one coat of primer (if not factory primed) and two coats of top quality
paint.
NOTE: Do not paint over the top finishes without proper instructions from Marvin. We do not recommend the use of stain on exterior wood
surfaces.
5. For interior painting follow the same procedure.
6. For interior staining, apply stain according to manufacturer's instructions. When the stain is dry,
apply at least two coats of varnish.
7. CAUTION: When applying paint and other finish to windows and doors, it is extremely important that you do not paint weatherstripping
important that you do not paint weatherstripping, vinyl, plastic, or other non-wood parts, doorsills, pile weather-stripping hardware, handles,
rollers, etc.; or any surface which has an abrasive or sliding contact with another surface. Paints, stains, and varnishes contain solvents which
cause plastics and vinyls to dry out and become brittle. Once brittle, they will need to be replaced.
