Provence Tiles - Page 40

GENERAL INFORMATION

Provence Tiles

These beautiful and charming tiles were inspired by French country tiles and the colors and light of Impressionist paintings. The glazes are exceptionally bright and pure. This is achieved by using a white engobe under the glaze. The effect is a dramatic burst of mediterranean color.

All glazes featured in this series have a smooth surface. They feel as good to the touch as they look to the eye. Glazes exhibit a range of color variation. They are very hard and suitable for use on counters, floors, fireplaces and hearths.

This tile is vitreous and may be used in wet or frosty applications, inside and outside. The clay body is smooth and all edges are relieved.

Glaze names: Drawn from period personalities and European cities and villages. Check Glaze List for glaze names, hardness and crazing.

Tile sizes offered: Buttons, 1-1/4 x 1-1/4, 2 x 2, 2 x 4, 2 x 6, 3 x 3, 3 x 6, 4 x 4 and 6 x 6.

Trim available: SBN is available on field tiles. Extruded shapes such as Cove, Quarter-Round, V-Cap are from the standard McIntyre line. Feature Strips, carved decoratives and custom colors are all available.
