Early 18th century reproduction. This is a fine example of the ancient Florentine craft of carved wood chandeliers and wall brackets. It reflects an era when fixtures were carved wood and hand finished to simulate unaffordable bronze. This fixture is finished in a combination of pickled pine hand rubbed with gold.
