If our wide color range of standard finishes does not meet your requirements, we will custom color match your choice of stain or paint. In specifying MOHAWK prefinished doors, you have complete control of the final appearance and cost of the product. These doors are prefinished in a controlled in-plant environment on specialized equipment by skilled personnel with many years of experience. This culminates in one of the finest prefinished door products available in the marketplace. We offer four-week delivery on all standard color prefinished doors.

Veneer Color Variation

Our Premium 2000 Prefinish addresses this basic finish problem; however, there are certain factors such as sapwood (white), heartwood (brown), and density of a given tree that cannot be overcome with a stain finish. We have designed our prefinish samples to illustrate the color variance you can reasonably expect on each job lot of prefinished doors. If these natural variances are beyond your acceptable levels, order select color-matched door skins.

Rustic

This is one of the least expensive and most durable prefinished doors in the industry. Rustic hardboard door skins are deeply embossed and then finished in our factory to capture the rich, inherent beauty of walnut and oak veneers. These doors will add to the luxury of any interior motif at a substantial savings compared with wood veneer. Rustic gives you a durable, problem-free prefinished door. This nine-coat finish is available in eight decorator tones: White, Golden Oak, Lite Oak, Oak, Walnut, Classic Mahogany, Classic Autumn Oak, and Classic Gray.

Enamel Paint Finish

Off-white standard, any custom color match by special request. We recommend Tempered Hardboard for paint substrate. The finished product is very wearable, cost-effective, and has the look of plastic laminate.
