| ARCHITECT AUTOMATIC DEEP
MORTISE & HINGE MACHINE: We have three of these machines, which cut the pockets for
mortise locks and route for hinges. 
DOUBLE EDGE BANDERS : Our three double edge
banders bond the stiles and rails to the core producing a PC-7 product. We are banding
1-3/8" (prior to trimming) softwood, hardwood, or matching stiles and rails to the
core with pressure-applied hot melt adhesive and then trimming them smooth. This virtually
eliminates stile, rail, and core show-through and improves the structural strength of the
door. This product available in sizes up to 4/0 x 10/0.
CNC FACE MACHINE : These three machines are
the sister machines to the Edge. Computerized with over 500 different programs to give the
most exacting cutouts to accommodate the most difficult lock bodies.
THE EDGE: We have three of these machines
with over 1700 different programs, which enables us to do anything to the edge of the
door, including hinges, mortise locks, flush bolts, T-strikes, concealed closures, drop
sills, pivots, restiling, etc. The Edge gives Mohawk unlimited machining capabilities.
ARCHITECT AUTOMATIC LOCK AND HINGE MACHINE:
We have eight of these door machines to give you precision machining for cylinder lock and
hinges.
TRIM UNIT : This Mareen/Johnson computer -
driven trim unit is the newest in the industry and enables us to give you precise prefit
sizing, sanded stiles, rails, and easing.
WAREHOUSE : We maintain in excess of
24,000,000 square feet of doorskins in our warehouses to make certain that we can service
you with the quickest lead-time in the industry.
AUTOMATIC LOADERS AND STACKERS : With these
32 machines we eliminate drag marks, scratches, and gouges on the face of the doors.
WRAP LINE : Each prefinished door is
individually wiped clean of all wood dust and inspected. If necessary, touch-up work is
done to make certain that this prefinished door is perfect in very detail. The door is
then polywrapped to protect against dirt and scratches until the job is completed.
