STYLE: MPFR,
an insulated fire-rated access door, is approved for walls and ceilings to maintain
fire-barrier ratings. The MPFR is designed for installations where temperature rise or
heat transmission is a concern. It is approved by Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. for 11/2
hour fire-rated Class B walls; and by Warnock Hersey for
1-hour combustible horizontal and vertical assemblies, 2-hour noncombustible horizontal
assemblies, and 3-hour noncombustible vertical wall assemblies.
