+Narrow Profile Arm Closers can
only be installed with 1637/1638 drop plate (sizes 2 and 3) or 1687/1688 drop plate (sizes
4, 5 and 6).
Non-Hold-Open: Use standard 1600 closer
for frame reveals between 0" and 3" (0 and 76mm). Use top jamb J1600 closer for
frame reveals from 3" to 7" (76 to 178 mm).
Hold-Open: Use standard 1600H closer for
frame reveals between 0" and 3" (0 and 76 mm). Use top jamb J1600H closer for
frame reveals from 2-3/4" to 6-3/4" (70 to 171 mm).
All dimensions are tor reference only. Dimensions in
parentheses are millimeters unless noted otherwise. Door sizing information is based on
installation on standard weight doors, 7'0" (2.13m) high 1-3/4" (44 mm) thick,
hung on anti-friction hinges and operating under normal conditions. Doors in excess of
7'8" (2.34m) high or 1-3/4" (44 mm) thick; unusually heavy doors: doors
templated for openings beyond 150° or doors subject to wind or draft conditions will
generally require the next larger size from that shown in the chart.
