Replacement Covers
Molded Cover -- #7500P: Supplied with all Series
7500 closers. Cover is non-handed, and can be used on any regular arm, top jamb or
parallel arm mounted closer. Decal on inside of cover provides adjustment details.
Available in sprayed finishes only. Order by Norton Finish symbol from "Sprayed
Finishes" on page 7500-2. Cover fastens to closer with two attaching screws,
included.
Wood Laminated Cover -- #7700W: Supplied with all
Series 7500W closers. This metal cover is laminated with fine-grained domestic or imported
woods. The cover is supplied unfinished, so it can be finished on the job with the door
and frame. This cover is non-handed, except for top jamb applications, because the shaft
cutout must be factory prepared. Decal on inside of cover provides adjustment details.
Order by specifying Wood Grain Laminate from page 7500-2. Specify hand of door when
ordering Top Jamb covers. Cover fastens to closer with two attaching screws, included.
Closer body must be factory drilled and tapped to accept attaching screws.
Metal Cover -- #7700M: Supplied with all Series
7500M closers. This cover is non-handed except for top jamb applications, because the
shaft cutout must be factory prepared. Decal on inside of cover provides adjustment
details. Available in Sprayed finishes to order at no extra charge. Available in plated
finishes at extra cost. Order by Norton Finish Symbol from either "Sprayed
Finishes" or "Plated Finishes" on page 7500-2. Specify hand of door when
ordering Top Jamb covers. Cover fastens to closer with two attaching screws, included.
