Door Closer Features

7700 Series Door Closer is a modern, nonhanded narrow projection closer with 50% spring power adjustment. It has four independent noncritical regulating valves to control closing speed, latch speed, backcheck cushioning and backcheck position.

Pair of Doors

(1) 7700PTD Master Unit with Integral Smoke Detector controlling

(1) 7700PTS Slave Unit.

(1) 7700PT Support Unit. Both Master Unit Solenoid and Support Unit Solenoid controlled by Alarm Panel.

(2) 7700PT Support Units controlled by Remote Detection Equipment.

Installation Details

Double Egress Doors

With reveals greater than 1/8" (3mm); a special handed arm for the Pull (Hinge) Side Power Track; accommodates reveals to 3" (76mm). Suffix "DE" to the List Number and specify hand, i.e. 7700PTD-DE 120 x RH.

Door Closer: mounts to the door's top rail: 3-5/8" (92mm) minimum top rail: 2-3/4" (70mm), with #7786 Drop Plate.

Power Track: mounts on the frame face; 2" (51mm) minimum ceiling clearance.
