Special Feature Closers
 Adjustable
Delayed Action Closing: An optional hydraulic feature, that adds a third speed
range to the closing control cycle. This feature becomes effective when the door is opened
and released at any point beyond 70°. This delayed closing enables traffic to clear the
opening before the normal closing cycle starts. This feature is advantageous to the
handicapped and elderly. It is also valuable for wheeled or other traffic where delayed
ciosing is desirable. Order by suffixing "DA" to the Catalog No.

Code Closer with low opening resistance is Norton Series 7900BF Overhead
Concealed Door Closer. This closer when installed on interior doors, with widths between
36" thru 48", can be adjusted to conform to the requirements outlined in ANSI
A117.1 Specifications for Making Building and Facilities Accessible To and Usable By
Physically Handicapped People. Consult the Norton Marketing Department for specific
details on application of this closer.
