Supplied with all Series 8200 or 8300 closers. Cover is non-handed and can be used on any
regular arm, parallel arm, or top jamb mounted closer. Decal on inside of cover provides
adjustable details. Cover fastens to closer with two attaching screws, included.

notch for Top Jamb closers is factory prepared. Specify hand of door when ordering Top
Jamb metal Full Covers. Decal on inside of cover provides adjustment details. Cover
fastens to closer with two mounting clips and two attaching screws, included.

Wood Laminated Cover -- #8400W: Supplied
with all Series 8400W/8500W closers. This metal cover is laminated with finegrained
domestic or imported woods. The cover is supplied unfinished, so it can be finished on the
job with the door and frame. This cover is non-handed, except for top jamb applications,
since the shaft cutout must be factory prepared. Decal on inside of cover provides
adjustment details. Order by specifying Wood Grain Laminate from page 8000-5. Specify hand
of door when ordering Top Jamb covers. Cover fastens to closer with two mounting clips and
two attaching screws, included.
Standard Arms
Non-Hold-Open Arm/Non-Handed 8020-1
Arm assembly becomes No. 8020-5 when 1618 Soffit Bracket is
substituted for the standard arm shoe.
Hold-Open Arm/Non-Handed 8020-3
Arm assembly becomes No. 8020-8 when 1628H Soffit Bracket
is added to adapt the standard arm for parallel arm mounting.
Fusible-Link Hold-Open/Handed 8020-4
Arm assembly becomes No. 8020-9 when 1628H Soffit Bracket
is added to adapt the standard arm for parallel arm mounting.
