SERIES 8301/8501
ACCESSORIES
The following accessories are available for use with Series
8301/8501 door closers.
The accessories are divided into the basic groups of closer
mounting: Regular Arm, Top Jamb, Parallel Arm, and Parallel Rigid Arm. These groups
include Arm Brackets for Non-Hold-Open and Hold-Open installations; and Closer Mounting
Brackets and Plates.
The initial statement in each paragraph outlines the
situation for which the accessory is intended. Example:
Molded/Bull Nose Trim: You are attempting to mount a
Regular Arm, Non-Hold-Open closer on a frame with molded or bull nose trim. The convex
frame surface prevents use of the standard non-hold-open mounting shoe.
By referring to the descriptions that follow, the specifier
can determine that it would require a 2403 bracket to complete the installation.
