All dimensions are for reference only. Door sizing
information is based on installation on standard weight doors, 7'0" (2.13 m) high
1-3/4" (44 mm) thick: hung on anti-friction hinges and operating under normal
conditions. Doors in excess of 7'8" (2.34 m) high or 1-3/4" (44 mm) thick,
unusually heavy doors, or doors subject to wind or draft conditions will generally require
the next larger size from that shown in the chart.

Narrow Top Rail—#1638 Drop Plate: For
use with Series CLP-1601 BC and CloserPlus,sizes 2 and 3. For use where a narrow top rail
prevents the closer from being mounted directly to the door surface. This drop plate can
be used to mount the closer on a top rail as narrow as 2-5/8" (67mm)in height.
