Closer Power Adjustment

The following charts are a guide to set the CloserPlus door closer power. Installer must further adjust the closer to accommodate door, frame, degree of opening, environment or "Code" requirements. Closer factory set at minimum power (zero turns).

Series CLP-1601BF Accessibility Code Power Range

Power of control can be adjusted to conform to sizing requirements outlined In A.D.A. and ANSI A117.1-1986, Specifications for Making Buildings and Facilities Accessible To and Usable By Physically Handicapped People.

Narrow Top Rail — #1688 Drop Plate: For use with Series CLP-1601 and 1601 BF CloserPlus. For use where a narrow top rail prevents the closer from being mounted directly to the door surface. This drop plate can be used to mount the closer on a top rail as narrow as 2-5/8" (67mm)in height.
