standard weight doors, 7'0" (2.13m) high 1-3/4" (44mm) thick: hung on
anti-friction hinges and operating under normal conditions. Unusual winds or drafts will
generally require the use of a larger size closer.

Narrow Top Rail -- #1638 Drop Plate: For UNI-1602
and UNI-1603 size Unitrols. For use where a narrow top rail prevents the closer from being
mounted directly to the door surface. This Drop Plate can be used to mount the door closer
on a top rail as narrow as 3-1/8" (79mm) in height.
