Closer Power Adjustment

The following charts are a guide to set the Unitrol door closer power. Installer must further adjust the closer to accommodate door, frame, degree of opening, environment or "Code" requirements. Closer factory set at minimum power (zero turns).

Accessories

Low Ceiling Clearance -- #8148 Drop Plate: For use where low ceiling clearance prevents normal top jamb mounting. This plate is used when the clearance is from 1-1/2" to 2-3/4" (38mm to 70mm).

1-3/4" high x 2-1/8" deep x 13" long (44mm x 54mm x 330mm)

Molded Slim Style Cover -- #8200P: Standard. Available in any of the "Sprayed Finishes" listed on page UNITROL-3. Cover fastens to closer with two attaching screws, included.
