Acoustical Performance
Moduflex Series 800 fully operable walls have attained stringent independent laboratory acoustical ratings of STC 54, STC 52, STC 49, and
STC 47. And an optional noise reduction coefficient of NRC .90 is available using steel perforated faces rather than add-on unprotected
absorbers. Panels have continuous vertical and horizontal acoustical seals placed in a double row labyrinth for optimum acoustical
performance. Moduflex Series 800 panels are four inches thick, providing the best combination of handling convenience, compact storage,
and acoustical efficiency.
Non-Combustible Seamless Steel Construction
Rugged one-piece 14-gauge steel frames are permanently and invisibly welded to one-piece seamless steel faces regardless of panel width
or height. Bronze finish deep-nesting, interlocking vertical panel edges and horizontal operable seals are made of steel for extra impact
strength and fire resistance. An optional 1 Hour U.L.® classification is available.
Full Range Features
Moduflex Series 800 is offered in individual, paired and continuously-hinged, manually or electrically operated panel models. A full range of
options, including expanding panels, single and double pass-doors, self-illuminated exit signs and chalk and marker surfaces may be
specified. These remarkably versatile, elegantly styled walls out perform most permanent walls with an unmatched range of construction,
engineering, sound transmission, and acoustical features.
Sheer Look
Moduflex Series 800, Series 600, and Series 400 operable walls feature Sheer Look® panel edges without trim to minimize vertical panel
joints. A wide range of surfacing materials is available including wood veneers, plastic laminates, Ribtex® vertical rib wall carpet, Startex™
solid color, Fabrictex® fabric textured and Ropetex® rope textured vinyls, Woventex® and Tekwal® 1000© panel fabrics, and Woodtex® wood
grain vinyls as well as virtually any specified wall covering including Customer’s Own Material.
Moduflex® Special Purpose Gym Walls
with light weight, highly impact resistant, steel faced, honeycomb core panels that are continuously hinged and automatically electrically
operated.
