Glazing Options

For insulated Glass Products

We offer the glass you need! Patio Enclosures, Inc., working with PPG, now has a wide variety of glass options to help satisfy the needs of most every application. Designers tell us that selecting the correct glass is determined by many different factors; aesthetics, structural strength, building code requirements, the planned use of the space, exposure, the control of heat loss/gain, owner preferences and cost considerations.

At Patio Enclosures, Inc. we understand those needs and rather than offer two or three choices for insulated glass, we have worked with PPG to develop a wide selection of glass options to fit the needs of the customer, not the limitations of the manufacturer. Heat Mirror™ is also available in a variety of forms. Contact our Commercial Division for more technical information.

C.B.A. Rating: Insulated Glass Units (IGU) manufactured by Patio Enclosures, Inc. have received the Insulated Glass Certification Council's highest rating: C.B.A..

1" IGU: Our standard 1" insulated glass unit thickness allows the designer the flexibility to select various glass thicknesses and still maintain an optimal "dead air space" for thermal efficiency. To increase thermal efficiency Argon Gas may be used to fill the air space.

Dual Seal: Our Dual Sealing process consists of a primary seal of polyisobutylene, that seals each lite to the aluminum spacers, ensuring long life. A secondary seal of polyurethane is applied to the IGU to provide moisture protection and structural integrity. Flat glass IGU's are dual sealed at Patio Enclosures, Inc.'s manufacturing facility, ensuring complete quality control.

Tempering: Patio Enclosures, Inc. has installed a new state-of-the art tempering facility to allow the designer an unlimited selection of tempered glass options. You can expect faster, more direct delivery times and higher quality control than previously available in the sunroom industry.
