Finished/Structural Ceiling Installation   
1.  The Suspended Ceiling Kit (Model #CMJ 450) replaces one ceiling tile and is secured to the structure above with four tie wires and a safety cable.   The TV bracket is then attached to the center hole in the ceiling tray either directly or by way of an extension column.  The kit includes hardware for attachment to wood or concrete.
2.  The Ceiling Mount Kit (Model # CMJ 470) includes hardware and mounting plate for attachment to wood joists above plaster, drywall or ceiling tile.   For attachment to concrete, a concrete fastener kit (ACC 210) must be ordered as well.

Wall Installation
3.  A wall mount may be attached directly to the center of a wood stud. For attachment between wood studs, use the appropriate Peerless Wall Mount Support Plate:

Interior Wall Plate - for mounting between wood studs on 16" (40.6cm) centers, behind drywall (Model #WSP 414).
Interior/Exterior Wall Plate - for mounting on surface of wall or behind drywall for studs on 16" (40.6cm) centers (Model #WSP 410-1); for studs on 24" (61cm) centers (Model #WSP 410-2).
For attachment to concrete, brick or cinder block, order the concrete wall fastener kit (ACC 205).  For 4" (10.2cm) wide cinder block installations or very heavy loads also use the Back-up Plate (Model #WSP 415).

4.  For installation to single metal studs, the following conditions must be met:   the metal studs must be structurally sound, of at least 20 gauge (.883mm) steel or heavier, and the total weight load must not exceed 65lbs. (29.5kg).  For TVs weighing more than 65 lbs. (29.5kg), order the Metal Stud Wall Support Plate Kit (Model #WSP 420) which includes hardware and support plate for attachment to metal studs.
