COLORS,COATINGS & ACCESSORIES

PELLA® COLORS, COATINGS AND ACCESSORIES.
MEETING ALL OF YOUR SPECIFICATIONS.

Whatever you envision for specific project - a unique color of cladding, unusual glazing or custom installation accessories - we'll help you bring it to reality.

EXTRAORDINARY COLOR FLEXIBILITY

When it comes to selecting the cladding color you want for your project, you can choose standard White, Brown or Tan, or one of our 14 reasonably priced Windowscaping® color options. Or, with Pella's Special Custom colors, we can match virtually any color you like -- just as we did for several of the projects featured in this guide.zpel007a.gif (62559 bytes)

Whatever color you choose, you can count on exceptional, "stand up to the elements" performance from our aluminium-clad exteriors, thanks to EnduraClad™ and Kynar 500®* based EnduraClad™ Plus finish systems.

THE PELLA® ENDURACLAD™ FINISH

With our EnduraClad finish applied to aluminum cladding, we've developed a cladding system that's far superior to vinyl. It doesn't crack and expand as vinyl can. It resists fading. And it protects for years, providing a beautiful, low-maintenance exterior.

Pella offers virtually unlimited Special Custom colors (shown on the right)

THE PELLA EnduraClad™ PLUS FINISH

The EnduraClad Plus finish takes our EnduraClad finish a step further with the use of Kynar 500 fluoropolymer resin. It's a coating system based on full-strength 70% Kynar 500® PVDF resin, helping EnduraClad Plus offer longer-lasting protection against fading and chalking.

EXCLUSIVE PELLA® ENDURACLAD™ SEVEN-STEP COATING PROCESS ASSURES CORROSION RESISTANCE

1. Our exterior cladding is made with aluminum - resistant to many forms of corrosion.

2. The aluminum is cleaned and etched to remove any oxidized materials, then rinsed to neutralize and remove the etching agent.

3. A chemical conversion coating is applied to provide a base for the paint layers.

4. A rinse stabilizes the conversion coating.

5. A sealer is applied to fill microscopic imperfections and protect the base coat against moisture.

6. An epoxy/polyester primer is applied and baked on to form a solid, cross-linked protective barrier.

7. A final topcoat of specially formulated pigments and highly modified polyester resins is applied and baked on, creating an abrasion - and weather-resistant seal.
