Pemko has added 5 new components (not shown) used to create assemblies (not shown) which accommodate up to 2-1/4" floor offsets in meeting the 1:12 slope requirements of the ADA. Please consult Pemko's Full-Line Catalog, Pemko customer service, or Pemko's engineering department.

Miter Returns for Modular Ramp Threshold Assemblies

• Cast aluminum 'wings' fit into each end of an assembly and then are fastened with self-tapping machine screws as shown in photograph below.

• Neat, compact, and tight-fitting design replaces former mitering methods: eliminates the need for costly and time consuming grouting (filling and feathering the threshold ends), and eliminates previous custom miters which were welded and protruding.

PemKote™

• Pemko strongly recommends PemKote™ for all modular ramp threshold assemblies.

• PemKote™, a rugged, abrasive, and skid resistant surface, is flame sprayed in a molten state onto the ramp surface. It is highly durable and provides safety in environments used by youths and people with disabilities.

  

Bumper Thresholds for Outswing Doors

• Labeled products are Smoke-labeled and Sound-tested with SiliconeSeal™ (S) only.

Aluminum Plates

• Used wherever a cover plate, expansion joint plate or wide extra strength metal plate is needed.

• Maximum standard length is 96".

• Both width edges are beveled at a 45° angle. "Single edge bevel" or "no bevel" also available.

• Supplied undrilled unless otherwise specified.
