Adjustable

screws and adjustment mechanism.
Adjusts upward as much as 3/8".
Furnished with vinyl ( V) insert.
Compensates for uneven or unparallel bottom of door.

Automatic Door
Bottoms - Low Closing Force Models
New smoother action positive seal mechanism.
All Pemko automatic door bottoms consist of an aluminum case which surrounds a movable
drop bar seal. The drop bar seal is actuated by a plunger which contacts the jamb as the
door is closing, forcing the drop bar seal down against the floor/threshold. The simple
yet practical engineering of the mechanism includes the following features:
When plunger contacts jamb, drop bar seal actuates
from multiple compression points.
The plunger requires low closing force to
actuate the drop bar seal. The "L" at the end of all product numbers
stands for Low closing force.
The drop bar seal actuates on the hinge side first.
All models (except #420) include "tri-finned
designed" seals, offered in 2 materials: soft closed cell sponge neoprene (R)
which remains pliable down to -70°F and PemkoPrene™ thermo-plastic rubber ( PK).
4 models (#4301, #434, #4131 and
#411) are also now available with nylon brush seals ( NB). This is the same
material used in our Brush Weatherstrip shown on page
10. The dense nylon filaments conform well to the contours of every sealing surface,
particularly carpet.
All models (except #430 and #412) are non-handed
and reversible.
All Pemko automatic door bottoms seal up to a
3/4" gap under door.
All models can be trimmed down by up to 2".
End plates are provided for all mounting
applications.
Available in any net size ranging from 18" to
72".
All Pemko automatic door bottoms are patent-pending.
