Adjustable Jamb Weatherstrip

  • Shown mounted on openings with 1/16" gaps; however, each weatherstrip can seal gaps up to the length of its seal. Seal length provided on each illustration. Moreover, adjustable jamb weatherstrip can adjust 3/16" out from the position illustrated (example: the 322CSN can adjust from 5/16" to 1/2").

Adhesive Jamb Weatherstrip

  • S88, S44, PK55, and PF114PS double backed self-adhesive weatherstrips should be applied between 50°F and 100°F.

S88 and S44: SiliconSeal™ Pressure Sensitive Door Gasketing

  • Begins compressing at 1/4" and can be compressed sufficiently to seal openings with 1/16" gaps; will not lose its form.

  • Available in 2 colors: dark bronze (D), white (W). S88 also available in tan (TAN).

  • Self-extinguishing and non-toxic.

  • Stays flexible well below -100ºF and resilient above 400ºF.

  • Uneffected buy sunlight, ozone, and ultraviolet rays.

  • Impervious to fungus & mildew; will not deteriorate under normal exposure.

  • Smoke tested by WYLE Laboratories in accordance with UL1784-90; meets the requirements of NFPA 105-1983 "Installation of Smoke Control Door Assemblies".

  • Meets FAR 25.853 Airworthiness Standards for Compartment Interiors.

  • S88 is air infiltration tested in accordance with ASTM E 283-1984 and SDI 116. Air infiltration is only .09CMF/ft of crack (800% better than .50 CFM/ft of rack allowed by ASTM 283 and SDI 116).

  • S44 is designed for tighter frames and demonstrates extremely low closing force.


 

PK55, PK33, and PK22: PemkoPrene™ Pressure Sensitive Door Gasketing

  • Extruded from thermoplastic elastomers.

  • Begins compressing at 1/4" and can be compressed sufficiently to seal openings with 1/16" gaps; excellent resistance to compression set particularly at elevated temperatures and for extended periods of time.

  • Available in 2 colors: dark bronze (D) and white (W).

  • Stays flexible between -70ºF and 250ºF.

  • Flex fatigue is extremely high.

  • Smoke tested by WYLE Laboratories in accordance with UL 1784-90; meets the requirements of NFPA 105-1993 "Installation of Smoke Control Door Assemblies".

  • Outstanding ozone resistance rating.

  • PK33 & PK22 are designed for tighter frames and demonstrates extremely low closing force.

Kerf-in Weatherstrip

  • Available in 36", 81", 85", 97", and 121" stock lengths.

  • Constructed from soft cell foam enclosed by an embossed tear resistant, low friction. UV stable polyethylene cover.

  • Shape an materials conform well to irregularities in door fit and finish for a tight seal and low air infiltration.

  • Includes rigid PVC insert with extended flange for fast and easy kerf insertion.
