The decision to market Petrarch Architectural Panels internationally was taken soon after the company was formed and the first sales to the U.S.A. were in 1977 following the establishment of a marketing office in New Jersey. In 1984 the managers of the company were invited to participate in a management buy-out in which they were successful and the name of the company was changed from Redland Claddings, Ltd. to Petrarch Claddings, Ltd.

For 25 years, in addition to the primary markets of Great Britain and the U.S.A., the product has been marketed world-wide including Japan, Taiwan, the Gulf States (including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates), Turkey, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and Mexico.

In Great Britain, the company offers a total service including design, fabrication and installation and sells directly to the contractor or building owner. While most of the sales to the U.S.A. are in full size sheets of approximately 4’ x 8’ and 4’ x 10’ by either 5/16" or 7/16" thick, we are often called upon to fabricate as well as provide pre-cut and pre-drilled panels, bonded corners and back fastening devices.

As well as supplying cladding for new construction, Petrarch Architectural Panels are extensively specified for over cladding existing buildings where long term durability, vandal resistance and aesthetic qualities are required.

The product is available in a standard range of colors, textures and finishes and the specifier/buyer is also offered the flexibility of special colors and textures within parameters defined by the pigmentation and mold ability.
