DIMMING SYSTEM

The HID multi-level lighting system allows fixtures to be switched two, three or four levels through motion and light sensors, or through time clocks and power line carriers to create a substantial energy savings. The system uses a state of the art switching device which can be preinstalled into new fixtures or can be sold separately for retro-fitting an existing HID fixture. This system maintains the lamps current crest factor, so the life of the lamp is not affected. The load side of the ballast is used to wire the device, so the ballast is not affected. The table below illustrates the energy savings available with each system for the most popular HID ballast's:
